Company matters!

Adolf Hitler once famously said "Company maketh a man"! And that, to almost every extent is what matters. The world around is majorly hostile to new bees like us. So, what we really need and have to look for is a great company…..not in terms of organizations, but in terms of people whom we can trust. Simply said, we need Mentors. At every stage of an budding entrepreneur there is an agitated need of a shepherd who can drive us to the healthy pastures. We cant escape that need, whatever way, if we wish to expand and prosper our business.
Thus the need arises to be at places where we can find them and more importantly we need to be prepared enough to atleast attract a conversation with such big shots. Lets go one by one about these two.
When it comes to places where you can spot them, the biggest challenge is on our part to recognise them. The concern of them coming to us lays far off ;) as of now. We will have to spend some regular time at associations, clubs etc where people in the stream of business of our interest generally gather (for whatever purpose). Apart our physical presence, we should be very regular in the online forums and communities where people of our city or state atleast meet and talk over general challenges and prospects of their businesses.
Now, the preparation part……we need to have atleast one fake idea if not real. The idea of our business! Some dream outline of our would be business. We gotta dream descriptive enough about this, coz the questions that come from them should not be left clueless in air. We have to have some or the other immature if not thought of, answers to their queries about our business proposal. You now know, its time to dream real hard about the hardships our startup would face in its starting years and you should know some or the other solution to it….doesnt matter if that is achievable within our scope or not.
Ok, time for some PR skill enhancement. If you are of the kind who hesitates to talk in general, give up man! You can survive in your own business if you are of the shy or egoistic kinds. Whatever you have that can be hurt, leave it at your doorsteps before leaving for business. When you are out to make money, u don’t mind anything other than your own business. “mind your own business” has been largely polluted and wrongly used. It has a lot more fair sense to it. Minding your business means, you will have to do anything and everything that people like, and forgive everything that comes as a harsh criticism to you. If its your mentor, then you need to be the maverick who is ready to risk it all to be one big shot. If you can catch hold of even one, its going to be the biggest aid you could ask for. He will make you known to others like him. Don’t ever lose charm or your spirits till u find one.
Its time to get on foot now, right? We have been thinking and planning from quite some time now. We now need to be available at the right places now onwards ;) Search such spots, spend time and efforts and don’t let any leaf unturned. Play all the magic you got within to woo someone :)

Whats your worry's worth?

You know what guys? I just happened to reach one strange conclusion few days ago.
See, the matter is that everybody has some or the other worries as per his personal day to day life, right? I mean, like the prime minister or president will have things to worry about his nation’s security and financial progress etc. A CEO will have to worry about the hundreds or thousands of families who depend on his company; one small mistake by him may lead to bankruptcy and so many families would be affected. Any guy running a road-side stall has to worry about his daily finances, family security and things like that. A student belonging to high expecting parents has to worry about his grades whereas a student belonging to some chilled out business family would have to worry about his entrepreneurial skills or accountancy skills. And the pattern goes on.
I hope you are getting me, where I am heading to. The point here is that, any person would have the same things to worry about, which he ponders over the whole day in general.
If you didn’t get me, this example would clear ur doubt. Anytime, I am about how will I arrange more time to accommodate so many things that I get to read and feel are important to know. So, i dont get time to worry about anything else!
You got it now? So, you will always have worries, anyways. But matter of thought is that, how worthy our worries are? Are our worries in the direction to make our lives more worthy? more luxury filled? more entertaining? more enriched? more sexy? or what?

So the lesson today for us is that we should spend all our time in something that we value most or we desire most. The more time we spend on it and the more efforts we put into it, we are going to have worries in that context only. We then may not have any other worries! On the other hand, We may have much more trivial and silly and worthless worries if we spend our time in silly, worthless things.
Since this blog is all about getting rich.....so we are hereafter entitled to be worried about only things that would make us rich, namely: business studies, domain research, fund collection ways, PR developement, our would be competitors and other such things. Believe me, nothing else on earth could then create crumples on your forehead. You are going to be as chilled out as the coolest guy on planet earth can be! So, engage yourself in worthy things and throw off all your headaches!

Chasing the dream or the money?

OK! So, are we running slow?
I hope not atleast in our actions. Am as usual always running out of time to do things that i wish to, to study things that i need to, and to pursue the hobbies i love to spend time on. Amidst all this, just yesterday one of my very old frnds happend to ask me "dude, whats your dream business?"

Hahaha! You know what? For most of us, we are not yet sure if we have a dream of becoming a business owner, an high paid employee (in whatever proffession), dancer, photographer, singer, DJ, actor or any other fucking thing on this planet. The funny thing about the question my friend asked me is that, how the heck do I make sure if I want to be into some business......let go the dream business!

So, the food to gulp down here today is, what is it that you want to be. We will come to the becoming rich part later. As the great cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle says "pursue your dreams and money n fame will follow you" I cant approve this till i experience it myself. But still, i find sense in these words. If you have been a regular reader here, you can make out that we are referring to our research work that we are supposed to be carrying out all this time.

Well, for me the dream is to be RICH! That simple. I want to be rich enough to visit any part of the world without giving much thought to the cost factor, without worrying much about the time availability (from official work ofcourse), without sacrificing any of my meagre luxuries of daily life (for several months to save such amounts), bla bla bla. I want be rich enough to eat and drink whatever i wish, wherever i wish and a million other things like that the general middle class cant afford that simply. Now the rest of the part......I dont know!.....if i want to be a businessman, a photographer, architect, painter or what! I am just fine with anything on the way to become rich as long as the task is not illegal! ;)

Fine enough, our homework here seems quite simple, but is a very tough one. Do you know whats the only way out to be sure of what your ultimate dream is? You have to try each of them (those you feel are your dream jobs) one by one. You may yell "I dont have that much time and energy to try sorting out what my dream job is"
Well sweetheart, nearly all the riches ever lived on planet earth has confessed that money can make you work till some time, but once you are comfortably rich, you will hate yourself for not doing what you love to do. If your innermost desire was to be an actor, then becoming a ultra-rich property builder would never give you the happiness we are chasing! I can hear you shouting "When i will be ultra rich, i can buy comfort for all my pains". And that my dear is going to be anything but happiness. You may become a drug-addict at best! and u will always pity yourself.

Making money work!

So, i believe we have started our research work on the market we want to target our limits and scope of our powers on which we are going to bet our efforts to become rich (plz refer my previous blog if you are not getting me).

Fine enough! These days its more often when you get to hear this around: "Dont work for money, but make money work for you". I doubt if many of us believe this is possible or happening. Well, just to give you an example, there are people (lets refer them as Mr. Lender) in every part of earth who have few thousands saved, they would rent it to neighbours or neighbouring shopkeepers and charge an monthly interest on it or even daily! If you are smart enough, you already know where i am heading :)

No prize for guessing it right. We are talking about trading. I encountered an awesome quote recently which said "A successful relationship is where you give someone what he wants in return of what you want". Plain, blunt but true. Thats what happens in both the cases, the first example of our local money-renter and the trading market.

You give money to someone when he needs and you get the benifits later. Since this blog is meant for people who are dieying to become rich, so we will talk trading of money only. Lets leave rest other lucrative things like flesh trade etc to the social activists! ;)) We'l get back to them wen we become rich.

The reason we are discussing trading here is because we are going to need it sooner or later when we will start minding our business. Our Mr. Lender is multiplying his money by doing nothing himself. He has left the money with someone (lets refer this guy as Mr. Worker) who is going to use it to create money for himself. And the money he makes will be shared with Mr. Lender. Simple enough, Mr. Worker got money from Mr. Lender when he needed it and Mr. Lender can now ask for higher returns as Mr. Worker grows. As we start minding our busniess, we are going to be Mr. Worker, but right now we can be Mr. Lender.

Now the cliche':: Dont get tempted by this idea of getting returns by doing nothing. If you have ever seen Mr. Lender in real, he is never rich. He will have few thousands to spare and he will always have those few thousands only. Real money and the fun to make it comes when you taste sweat.

Lets streamline our course of action now. Becoming a local Mr. Lender is absolutely worthless and humiliating. There is a smarter and more regulated way of becoming Lender. Start playing with stocks. It will teach you the basics of business and the water-cycle of money market. I will talk about it here someday later. Right now we have to learn what Mr. Robert Kiyosaki teaches. Invest your money into something which will use ur money to create more money. Major examples would be stocks, real estate etc. You have to learn it if you are a serious Mr. Rich aspirant. Start with few thousands. Dont play gamble. Making money is no magic. Learn the way a kid learns to crawl, then stand stumble and then walk and then run! We sure are going to learn hell lot of things :)

Where is all the money?

Ok, so to start with....what i saw yesterday at one of the shopping streets::

A poor boy was selling some silly pen and books. He was running after people one after another walking by. It was barely 2 mins i had penned my eye on him, a man in mid 30s stopped and took out a 500Rs (INR) note and gave it to him. Another 5 mins and some other lady stopped by to give him a 100Rs bill.

Now the obvious point here is that if people have so much to donate (apart from so much heart to be this kind), then why is the market on a free fall? Why are most bussinesses failing with every passing month. Why are we facing more trouble with spending a meagre on day to day luxury?

Amidst all this, if we are sharing a dream to become rich in this free falling market, where the hell do we head to get a kick start?....atleast a better start than this poor kid who made almost 600 bucks in less than 10mins!!??? (To ease our uncomfortability about this rocking bread earner -- each of his 10mins are not going to be this productive anyways)

Ok so, lets view it this way. The hero here (our poor kid), is cashing on the emotional quotient of the generous public. He knows his limits and his scope as well. Though this must not be taught to him, but somehow he managed to learn this from his stringent, struggling poverty.

Now if we suppose that the kid here (who was roughly 7yrs old), took about 2-3 years to learn this complete concept (out of sheer experience and discriminating atmosphere), then we too need to put in an equivalent load of time and effort. Its time to start recognising our limits and scope. Then derive the target market on which we will be encashing our efforts. And once we are convinced enough, we gotta approach our friends n buddies. Share your idea with them. Debate and try to convince the potential of our business plan. If they are ready to fund even 25% or your startup money, rest assured that your idea has the potential to kindle public interest.

As i say this, am still in the process of learning the world around along with my potentials and inhibitions. 2-3 years of preperation may seem too much if we are serious about getting rich. But the fact is, once you start the research work, your blood will boil enough to push you to kick start something you have been seriously thinking about. The beauty here is that you may fail but you will still love it. The loss if we dont start the research is, we will remain among the dreamers.....the millions and billions of people around who have an intense desire to become rich but are unable to attain even 1 percent of

what they wish to.

Gear up guys! Lets not brood on the impossibilities. Lets start with encashing on our gutts and self-belief of how good we are. As they say "If Yen can do, anyone can do and so i too can do and do it much better!"

Part 2.
I am at my flat, running circles in my front room hall, doing crutches, sit ups and push ups....trying hard to pull in, my bloated tummy. Like any 21st centruy office goer, i too crave for a slim Obama like structure, where there wont be any bump above the belt.
So, the theme here is "Health is Wealth". Somebody greatly said "one who cannot spare 40 minutes a day of his youth to health, will waste 40 thousands every year of his post 40 wealth".
We gotta blame our age for this. The mind inside at this age for anyone with open eyes is a complete medley. We want do everything from work to work out to socialize in real as well as virtual and the list grows on. Though we hardly do anything of these to our heart's satisfaction.

The point here is why are we so resistive to physical exertion? Why do we prefer elevators to stairs even for a single floor? Why do we opt a vehicle instead of strolling to nearby vendor?
As kids, nothing on earth would shatter our willingness to wreck hell with the neighboring lads. Scorching sun, flooding rains, teeth gobbling winters, absolutely nothing bothered our spirits to play out. The need thus is to wake up that kid inside, go around and sport! Go pick up a bicycle, face the wind, soak in the rain, sweat it out, shun boredom and stop being a couch-potato. If nothing else, play with a dog! A healthy mind is the best partner to the wealthy kind.

Millionaire or Happionaire?

The Beginning.

The quest to become rich never died in me (atleast ever since I started working). When I started off the search to making wealth, I used to feel that owning a physical space and necessary infrastructure is the bare minimum to start the journey. Though, the setup could never be erected, but the quest continued and so the studies kept following.

But what I wanted to share with you all here right now is the book that I came across “Invest the Happionaire way” by Yogesh Chabria. You have to read this if you are the ignorant types (like I was till I read this). This blog you are visiting is a direct outcome of the blows I took from his thoughts. Am not saying that this is my way of starting the journey to wealth, but this surely is a way to connect to like-minded people to share ideas and thoughts that bubble every day within my head. And that sure is going to teach me lessons I need for treading the journey.

Yogesh is the only reason, why I have started investing my hard earned money into stock market. Whether its making me rich or not, it surely is making me smile. Don’t want to fade the effect here, just go ahead and read it. You gotcha own it and everytime you re-read, its going to make you smile broader (as he wishes :)

Happy Reading Folks.
